slots in gigantic shelves. Your slot is in the sixth rack, four floors up and
the seventeenth one over.

[22:52] * Tim nods. "Yup." He glances around, and looks at this person who might
be Irene.
[22:52] * Vernon says quietly, "Frankly, I'm scared. Your turn."
[22:53] * Tim chuckles. "If you say so." He approaches the person who might be
Irene.
[22:53] <Chamelaeon> <<The tiny booth is FILLED with smoke. "Irene" looks up
from her porn to eye Tim square in the face. She says nothing.>>

[22:55] <Chamelaeon> <<She grunts. "That'n yer ship?" Her voice could probably

[22:57] <Chamelaeon> <<She puts two things into a metal bin embedded in the
counter, then slams on it. It pops out on Tim's side, nearly catching him in the
gut. In the bin are a small plastic key and a fist sized sphere marked
"R6-F4-S17".>>

[22:58] * Tim takes the items. "Uhm, thanks. Have a nice day?"
[22:59] * Vernon would put his head in his hands, but wishes to avoid the Wrath
of Irene.
[22:59] <Chamelaeon> <<A grunt is your response.>>
[23:00] * Tim frowns. They didn't offer a language course in Grunt at his
college, so he can't really reply. Insteads he takes the hey and heads off to
the ship, motioning for Vernon to do the same.
[23:01] * Vernon follows along.
[23:02] <Chamelaeon> <<Next to the ship, there is a big yellow rectangle painted
on the wall. There looks to be a keyslot in the middle of it.>>
[23:04] * Tim follows over, and unless there are explicit directions not to,
applies key to keyslot in the appropriate manner.
[23:07] <Chamelaeon> <<With that fell swipe! (ahahahahah!) the entirety of the
floor LIFTS UP (ship and you included), and slides along at a very brisk clip
until you come to a slot marked "R6-F4-S17". It's blocked by a HUGE door, which
slides up automatically as you approach. You can see that the slot actually has
no floor - but what you're standing on becomes the floor as it slides in.>>

[23:08] <Vernon> Wow, very nice indeed.
[23:08] <Tim> At least we won't have to carry our suits and all the parts we'll
need up who knows how many flights of stairs.

somewhere that stocks a lot of parts. I'd like to pick up a couple of things for
my suit, too."

[23:13] <Vernon> There are a few places around here that are supposed to be
good...
[23:15] * Tim nods. "Know how to get to them?"
[23:16] * Vernon rubs the back of his head. "More or less. I don't know the area
well enough, though, to be able to say how safe it is."
[23:18] * Tim frowns. "Well, do you have any hand weapons?"
[23:18] <Vernon> Not a one. It's probably not all *that* dangerous.
[23:18] <Vernon> Well, I do have a wrench.
[23:19] <Tim> Well. Then we can either just hope to stay out of trouble, or we
can go in our suits and attract lots of attention.
